Features
There are tons of features on the 2021 Wrangler that you can use on every drive. Every model comes with a state-of-the-art touchscreen Uconnect system with Bluetooth streaming audio. On some trims, the system includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration. Once you connect to your smartphone, you can make phone and receive calls, send and receive messages, access music and navigation, and so much more. The system even has built-in navigation on upper-level trims.
Your passengers can connect to the 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot to surf and stream on the go. It works with up to eight devices. The Alpine premium audio system comes with nine speakers, an overhead sound bar, an all-weather subwoofer, and a 552-watt amplifier. With the Jeep skill for Amazon Alexa, you can send driving directions to the Wrangler, check your fuel levels, and even start your engine from inside your house.
The Remote Vehicle Start also lets you turn the vehicle on or off from your phone.You can also set up to two temperatures in the front of the cabin with the convenient dual-zone automatic temperature control system. On the outside of the vehicle, the heated side mirrors clear away ice and fog build-up on colder days. You can choose between a soft or hard removable top. The Wrangler also comes with a removable top, removable doors, and a fold-down windshield, so you can take in tons of fresh air.
Performance
The new Wrangler was built for peak performance on and off the road. You get to choose from three available engines. There's a 2.0-liter Turbo with an electronic start stop system, a 3.0-liter EcoDiesel, and a 3.6-liter Pentastar with an electronic start stop system or eTorque. Each one can tow up to 3,500 pounds. The EcoDiesel engine also gets up to 22 MPG in the city and 29 MPG on the highway.
This SUV proudly wears a Trail Rated Badge, which means it can handle tough terrain, harsh conditions, and inclement weather. The Rock-Trac 4x4 systems gives you the most control and torque on any drive. And, the high air intake, sealed electrical connections, and moisture-resistant body openings mean you drive through creeks, streams, and other bodies of water.
Interior
The inside of new Wrangler is super spacious, comfortable, and modern. There's over 100 cubic feet of space for your friends, family, and four-legged friends. Your passengers have plenty of room to enjoy off-roading adventures, and they can stretch out and relax on long drives. Every model comes with cloth- or leather-trimmed seats. Each trim has different seat and stitching color options, so you can choose your favorite combo. The Trail Rail System lets you pack smaller items in the Jeep Utility Grid, or lock up your valuables in the glove box or center console.
The system also comes with a removable cargo floor, so you have extra space for gear in the trunk. You can fold down the backseat to haul larger items, like luggage, bicycles, or sports gear. The weather-resistant removable carpet and one-way floor drain valves help you clean up all messes. In the freezing winter, the heated front seats and heated steering wheel will keep you warm and cozy inside your vehicle. There's also right-hand drive, which means the steering wheel is located on the right side of the Wrangler. This is super handy for mail carriers.
Safety
This great SUV has over 75 standard and available safety and security features. The ParkView rear back up camera shows you everything behind the Wrangler, and the ParkSense rear park assist makes parallel parking a breeze. Forward collision warning helps you avoid front-end crashes.
You can also add on blind spot monitoring with rear cross path detection, adaptive cruise control, and automatic high-beam headlamps. Every model is equipped with a high-strength steel frame, a tough roof, and an advanced airbag system. That means all passengers will be protected in case of an accident.
