It looks like the next Jeep name to be revived is the Wagoneer! Automotive News reported that the Wagoneer will come out in mid-2019. There have been concepts and rumors of a new Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer for years. Now it sounds like Jeep may finally be setting the plans into motion. Automotive News reports that we can expect the 2019 Jeep Grand Wagoneer on the market in 2019.
The report also states that the Grand Wagoneer will be built at the Warren Truck Assembly Plant in Michigan. The 2019 Jeep Grand Wagoneer will reportedly boast three rows and new levels of luxury for Jeep. According to reports, it’ll be body-on-frame, too. It’s also rumored to share its platform with the Ram 1500. Despite its truck family, however, reports say it’s aiming for the upper limits of SUV luxury. There’s no word yet on how many trims or options will be available, however.
Experts also expect a smaller and less expensive Wagoneer. Like Jeep’s famous Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited models, the Grand Wagoneer may offer customers their choice of space and value. The 2019 Jeep Grand Wagoneer will probably offer a longer wheelbase and three rows. This means it could be aimed at competing with the GMC Yukon Denali and the Chevy Suburban. It could be the new Jeep of choice for big families!
